Wonder Media has partnered with The Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center Foundation to develop a national campaign on child abuse awareness and prevention called the “Protect Yourself Rules”.
The objective of the “Protect Yourself Rules” is to educate children about what to do when confronted with abusive behavior, such as unsafe touches and other physical and emotional abuse.
The “Protect Yourself Rules” on YouTube have received more than 12 million views. The lessons on the Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center website have received more than 800,000 downloads. As a result of this success, a second series is in development to be launched in April of 2019 as part of the National Child Abuse Prevention Month.
“Education for Justice” an initiative of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime will be placing all of the “Protect Yourself Rules” videos in their newly announced video library. The United Nations will be promoting the “Protect Yourself Rules” throughout the world.
