Wonder Media is proud to have partnered with KyleCares, a New England-based non-profit organization dedicated to promoting open and honest communication about the mental health challenges experienced by teens and young adults in today’s society.
Through this partnership, Wonder Media worked with 7 New England schools to produce a series of new animated mental health stories using Wonder Media Story Maker® covering the following topics: social media, family dynamics, academic pressure, isolation, acceptance, social pressure, and empathy & understanding.
Participating schools included Greely High School, Randolph High School, Millis High School, The Williston Northampton School, Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School, East Bridgewater High School, and Cardinal Spellman High School. Through this exploration of personal stories and mental health themes, students worked together to construct outlines, write scripts, and record voice performances for animation guided by Wonder Media’s creative team.
The participating schools celebrated their hard work and watched as their stories came to life for the first time with a total of 42 attending schools at this inspiring conference, sharing their unique messages of connection and hope for a crowd of over 550 students, accompanying educators, and volunteers.
Wonder Media Creative Director, Amanda Carson screened these 7 original animated stories at the KyleCares 2026 Conference at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA during her keynote address where she spoke about how animation is a unique storytelling tool that can help reduce stigma, normalize mental health struggles, and encourage help-seeking behaviors.
All of our animated stories are designed to connect with young people and prepare them for the challenges of life.
