The Why for Children
Our goal is for young learners to inspire their family to work together not only to make their yard a safer place for birds, but to engage in activities together that requires them to be present and connected with each other through a meaningful process of creating habitats for birds.

We want young learners to feel inspired to explore the outdoors, not only taking an interest in their environment, but inspiring them to take time to restore and replenish their energy from the demands of school work and screen time.

By engaging in activities that require them to slow down and use their senses, they can use the knowledge and interest they’ve gained from the bird animated stories as a tool to restore bird habitats and promote their own mental health.

This environmental science animated series was inspired by the New York Times best seller "Nature’s Best Hope," How You Can Save the World in Your Own Yard’ by Douglas W. Tallamy. He is the co-founder of Homegrown National Park®

"A WonderGrove for Birds" was created using Wonder Media's Story Maker®. This is the same production process that students use in classrooms nationwide. If you would like to turn your classroom into a animation production studio you can learn more by clicking the link here. Or you can contact us by email at contact@wondermediagroup.net.
